Question #1:

Can different parrot species breed?

I know there is another question like this one, but this parrots are really different XD... They already breed :P, they've been doing-it now and then since July last year (and not shy about it, I say), but would she lay eggs? (so far she hasn't). . . Well it's a Crimson-fronted Parakeet and a Black-hooded Parakeet, according to 'them' the black one is the female :D
If they can breed, what kind of nest do they need?
