How do I get my ringnecked parakeet to like me ?

Hi, my parakeet really doesn't like me, unlike my mom and dad, every time I get my fingers near her she bites me, so I have to get my mom's help to make stand on my shoulder, she's been in our house for less than a week, today I wore a glove so the bite won't hurt me, but I can see that the glove scares her.......... I don't know what to do to get her trust.......... please help me.

Im wanting to get a bird but need a not-so-high maintenance one such as a cockatoo. I would like a hand tamable one to cuddle too. Any other suggestions of bird species?

i have a male and a female ringnecked parrakeet lately the female has been attackin the male and pinning him to the bottom of the cage we sepatate them for a while and they seem fine when they go back together cuddling up to each other and the male feeding the female then she attacks him again she has also started throwing all the chippings out of the bottom of the cage. what could be causing this and what can we do?
